Chapter 4
Charlotte
I still have no idea what this is between us, but it feels huge. He stayed last night and waking up with him was a dream come true. Yesterday, I was worried this was just residual-ness hanging over from my massive crush on him as a baseball player. But, as I got to know him more and more as the night went on, I knew it was different. Very much so. Creeping slowly out of my own bed, I leave him sleeping and go into the bathroom. I start the water in the shower and while it heats up, I brush my teeth and brush my hair out. It is so tangled. I strip off my clothes and I look at myself in the mirror.
My skin is still red from where his sexier than sin, scruffy beard rubbed up against me. There are matching fingertip bruises at my hips and seeing them sends a shiver down my spine. Just the thought of his huge cock pounding into me makes me want him to take me again.
I am a bit nervous about today though. I know that I've met Eve before, but this feels different now. My parents just bought the house next door to hers and I've seen her out gardening every day this week, when I go over there to feed my parents dog, Bowser. It's still early enough, that I can whip up some cinnamon rolls before we head over. She really does love them.
I climb into the shower and I can't help the moan that escapes me. Muscles I didn't know I had hurt, and the hot water is soothing. I soap up my body, wincing as I run the pouf over my pussy. Next, I wash my hair and as I am rinsing, I feel Blake step into the shower behind me.
"Morning, baby," he says, placing a kiss on my shoulder. His voice is low and rumbly, and his little kiss gives me goosebumps. How fucking sweet is he?
"Good morning," I say turning my head up. I place a quick kiss on his lips and finish my hair. "I am going to make some breakfast. How do you like your eggs?"
"Over medium. You're going to spoil me, Char. I don't want to leave as it is."
"Maybe that's the plan. Fatten you up so you can't run away from me," I say laughing, as I'm stepping out of the tub.
"Not running, Char," he says, grabbing my elbow and turning me to face him. My eyes meet his and suddenly I know what love is.
"Good," I say because I have no idea what else to say. I am dripping wet and standing in a nice puddle by the time he lets me go. I grab a towel off the shelf and hurry out of the bathroom. I lean against the wall in my closet for a few minutes, catching my breath. He is going to be the death of me. He's amazing and just the kind of man I always pictured myself with.
