This card represents holding on to your finances or being over-possessive, and although it usually relates to material issues, it can also represent holding on to your emotions, or bottling up your thoughts. It can denote a controlling nature or someone who is not willing to share. Pulling this card indicates that now is not the time to confide secrets or ideas in anyone less than trustworthy.

To the outside world you may appear to hold your cards close to your chest, perhaps occasionally appearing mean and ungenerous. Maybe it is time to loosen the purse strings and show another side to your nature. Of course, there are times in life when it’s necessary to keep money and ideas close to home, but it’s always advisable to get the balance right.

This card encourages you to be prudent with finances and, if possible, save a little each month, particularly if you have experienced hardship in the past. It is time to change your attitude towards money; give and you shall receive.
