Heat up the open end of the pipe and press it down at a 35-40 degree angle. This will establish the angle the siyahs go into the bow. Make sure both siyahs match.

Heat the siyah up gently and give it a slight bend toward the non-angled edge, which will be on the back side of the bow. The two inches of this siyah will be above the nock, so there’s room for a little creativity. Draw the shape you want for the nock, here I have a simple curve.

Follow the line and cut the excess off. Then heat the very end of the pipe and flatten it so that there are no gaps. A little bit of glue before closing the end off helps completely seal the siyah.
