You cannot configure notifications when defining an alert routing rule on the OpsMgr connector. When notifications are required for an incident work item created with the connector, you need to create an additional incident event workflow with a notification rule. Refer to the procedure detailed in the “Incident Management Workflows” section to create this additional workflow.

Tip: Generic Approach for Forwarding Alerts to Service Manager

If you need a generic way to forward alerts to Service Manager, create a generic override in Operations Manager, and Service Manager can then filter on this. For example, you can set the priority field of an event in OpsMgr to High, which is a general override; this forwards the alerts to Service Manager. Very few Operations Manager alerts have the priority set to High.
