Responsible green advertising is a type of advertising that focuses on factors relating to the environment and sustainability.

Responsible advertising may incorporate references to the way product components have been sourced, the energy or carbon expended in their production and distribution, their biodegradable or reusable qualities, and so on. Green advertising may also reference the overall sustainability and social responsibility of the business itself in terms of its philanthropic or similar activities, its concern to minimize waste and its desire to avoid excessive packaging. Responsible green advertising is closely linked to green marketing and may be developed to either expand or exploit existing green markets. Advertising is everywhere for good or ill but responsible advertising is often less apparent.
