During the next few hours, I worked with an energy I didn’t know I had. Nothing seemed too big or too boring. I went through all my emails, and even started writing a new story. I finished drawing a character that wasn’t inspiring me as much as the other ones. It felt like I could do anything, which was very impressive, considering that I had slept very little. The only explanation was Alex. I knew I was going to meet him later, and even if I was a little bit worried, knowing it was going to happen made me feel ten times better.

“Time to get ready,” I said to Apollo, who was sleeping at my feet.

Half a second later, he was on his feet, ready to leave. I would need a bit more time than him.
