If I would have realized how easily I was going to sleep, I would have told Kedrin to wake me up before Hoquiam. The view is so beautiful. It was my favorite part of the entire drive. Generally when my family traveled this far, they would have made another stop whether planned or not to eat or use the restroom. It was my own need to use the restroom that woke me in time to see the sign for Burrows Road.
Kedrin smiled at me when I looked over at him. He asked, “Did you have a good nap?”
Without thinking I let go of his hand, so I could use both of my own hands to wipe my eyes. I yawn before answering, “I did. I can’t believe I slept for so long. I hope I didn’t snore.”
