Dillon heard Ashley’s car pull up. Her heart started to race. This was the

day that would officially mark the start of their lives as partners together.

There was no turning back now. A smile came across Dillon’s face. She

grabbed the single rose and a white jewelry box off the table. She ran to

the door hiding the rose and box behind her back. She opened the door

for Ashley, who stepped inside. Dillon could tell at once that Ashley had

been crying.

“Welcome home, Doc.” Dillon smiled as she gave the rose to

Ashley.

“You ok?” Dillon fi nally broke the silence.

“Dinner’s ready if you’re hungry.”

“No, not really.” Ashley looked into Dillon’s eyes. “At least not for

dinner.” She slowly smiled at Dillon. She took her by the hand and led

her into the bedroom.

Dillon kissed her as she slowly peeled off Ashley’s clothes. She kissed

her and slowly moved her to the bed. Ashley watched, her eyes fi xed on

Dillon’s,

Dillon reached down and started to stroke the inside of Ashley’s

thighs. Ashley shivered with delight as Dillon’s strong hand moved over

her.

Dillon quickly found Ashley’s swollen clit. Ashley arched her back

“It was just harder than I thought. “ Ashley fi ngered Dillon’s chin.

Ashley told Dillon what happened, fi nally getting it off her chest

and letting it go.

Dillon made sure she listened to Ashley. She wanted to hear every

past.

When Ashley fi nished, Dillon presented her with the little white

box with red satin ribbon.

“For me?” Ashley smiled.

“Yep.” Dillon smiled.

She watched as Ashley fi ngered the black pearl necklace that Dillon

had given her. Since that night under the Milky Way, she never took it

off . Ashley untied the ribbon and opened the box.
