Chapter 12

The A-Dick-Tion

Thank God S.A.M. #10 was in time to eat the dinner Hope cooked after her conversation with S.A.M. #7. Poo helped her wash the dishes and they played board games with the kids until bedtime. When S.A.M. #10 stepped outside to smoke, he left his cellphone on the bed. It looked like opportunity to Hope. She could see him through the window talking to her neighbor’s man.

Hope wanted to know where he had been at three o’clock in the morning. This was the perfect time to review his cellphone history. S.A.M. #10 was really slipping. Normally, he guarded that cellphone like Fort Knox. When it rang, he never failed to answer it. Nine times out of ten, it was one of his podnas from the block. Hope had never seen the block, but it must be huge with all those podnas standing around it.

Hope reached down and picked up the phone. It was like he had a sixth sense. She saw him through the bedroom window patting his pants pockets. He told the neighbor’s man bye. S.A.M. #10 had to get to his phone. Hope heard the front door open, just as his phone began to ring. Damn!

“Baby? Is that you? Your phone is ringing!” she yelled from the bedroom with his phone in her hand. S.A.M. #10 walked through the bedroom door and took the phone from her hands.

“What’s the deal, Man?” It was his boy, Junebug. Hope had checked the caller i.d. when she picked it up. No sense sitting around listening to their conversation. Hope walked into the bathroom and started the shower.

The Sorry Ass Man held the phone away from his ear and said, “Don’t get in that shower. You’re just gon get dirty again.” Hope hadn’t received her evening dose yet. She should have known better. She turned the water off. It was a waste of time and hot water to shower now. When he saw that she wasn’t going to shower, he said, “Com ‘ere.” He was still on the phone with Junebug, but he wanted Hope within his reach. They were talking about getting together the next day when Hope sat on Poo’s lap. “I’ll holla back, Man,” S.A.M. #10 abruptly ended the call.

Hope knew he would have to end the conversation or moan in Junebug’s ear, since she had his right nipple in his mouth. Hope smiled up at him. He couldn’t help but smile back. He knew she was enjoying it. S.A.M. #10 had skills and Hope had them, too.

“Talk to Daddy-o.” It was his way of letting Hope know he wanted his dick sucked.

“Ain’t.” Hope liked making him beg. She always refused and sometimes, she wasn’t even playing.

“Come on, Baby. Talk to Daddy-o.”

“The only conversation Daddy-o is having before we shower is with MawMaw,” Hope responded, as she switched to his left nipple. S.A.M. #10 picked her up and came up from behind her.

“You gon give me some booty?” What a compromise! Anal sex instead of oral sex? Hope didn’t think so.
