Thursday Morning

I had thought about it all week, and I was still on the fence about trying to date three guys. But I decided that today I was going to make my final decision, enough back and forth I was going to do it, after I talked to Stacey this afternoon that was.

I had been going into the shop everyday super early to avoid the guys, and I was doing that again today. Telling Aunt Dell that I wanted to go in and get a bunch of stuff put away before customers came in was a complete ruse, but it actually did help get us more organized.

Anyway stepping out on the porch, and locking the door behind me, I walk out to my car and spot a bunch of stuff on my windshield. It’s cold and I don’t want to get caught by the guys out here, so I just grab it all and throw it in my passenger seat until I get to the store. When I go through the pile in the store parking lot, I see a bouquet of pink lilies, a teddy bear wearing a shirt that says you’re mine, a box with what looks like a diamond bracelet, with a heart charm that is engraved with together forever, and a card. Opening the card I start to read the message wondering why the guys would go to this extent.

Do not be fooled by those three Neanderthals you belong with me.

They can’t even begin to know the things I know about you.

I love you more than air, I forgive you for the blonde one, I know that’s his fault not yours.

We will be together. And all will be as it should.

Throwing the card into the back seat along with the rest of the creepy shit, I tell myself not to even think about it. This is future Laceys problem, right now I just have to go in the store and go to work. Which is exactly what I do, even though I may have also checked around my car and the store to see if anyone was there first, but other than that I was putting it completely out of my mind.
