1. Define
Define the goals of the story. Ask, “What do we need to know about the customer’s experience?”
2. Format
Prepare storyboard frames for the participants to use. One approach is to use the customer journey framework, creating a separate picture box for each step of the journey—attention, interest, decision, action and satisfaction. Under each picture box, allow room to write what the customer is doing, thinking and feeling, as well as their frustrations and successes.
