Poly Tube connects vacuum system to jig or accessory. VENTURI VALVE COUPLING NOTE: We used a brass hose barb to connect the vacuum system to the air tube. It’s not included in basic kit. VENTURI COUPLING Use Shutoff valve to apply (or release) vacuum. Hose supplies air from compressor. Filter screens dust to prevent clogging venturi valve. As compressed airflows through venturi valve, outside air is drawn from vacuum area in jig. Air pressure gauge measures air pressure from compressor. NOTE: To assemble this vacuum system, • page 31 for sources. NOTE: To produce a vacuum with our venturi valve, we used a hp air compressor that supplies 2 CFM of air. If you use a different venturi valve, ask the manufacturer to match it to your compressor.
