Premise

Fabric masks, like most of those found on the market, alone and without the necessary precaution, cannot guarantee adequate protection. So, you must always pay attention to the directives suggested by the World Health Organisation, which recommends using them appropriately together with measures such as social distancing and correct hand and surface hygiene, avoiding gatherings and unnecessary risks.

The models described differ from each other in the lateral finishing, and some of them have more stitching steps and therefore are more refined, while others are easier and faster to make at home.

Material

For most of the models described, you will need the same amount of fabric, i.e. two rectangles of 24x22 cm (9x8 in) and also need pins, white cotton, soft elastic of about 30 cm (11.8 in) for each template, to be cut in half. Some models also require two 10x5 cm (4x2 in) rectangles of fabric.
