SAVAGE

It had been just over two weeks since he sent his family away, but it had to be done. Keeping them all safe was his top priority. The Dragons going after Dallas and Greer was only the first part of their plan. Savage knew they’d stop at nothing to destroy his entire family. The Dragons had done it once and he wouldn’t put it past them to do it again.

The truth was this fight between the two clubs had been going on for a damn long time. Since before he was president and he wasn’t sure it would ever end. They went after his friend, Cillian James, targeting him because of his family’s ties to Savage and his club. Cillian had been paying for his mistake with the Dragons for the past ten years of his life. He was behind bars and Savage knew that the Dragons wouldn’t stop until they hurt him again. What they did to Cillian was just the tip of the iceberg. The Dragons were capable of completely destroying Savage’s world and he knew it.

Thank God for Ryder, Repo, and Snake. They had stuck by his side and he wasn’t sure what he would have done without them. Savage just wondered if they’d still stick around once he came clean and told them and the rest of his club that he was involved with both Bowie and Dallas. Being bi was something he usually kept to himself. Really, it wasn’t anyone else’s business, but in the MC world, it wasn’t widely accepted. He knew that he’d get some backlash and criticism but that was true in any walk of life. Being different scared people and what he wanted with Dallas and Bowie would be considered pretty damn unusual.

Ryder walked into his office and threw down a piece of paper onto his desk. “They left another note,” he said. “This time, Dante wants to meet with you—alone.” Savage took the paper from Ryder and read it over. Dante was the president of the Dragons and he was demanding Savage’s presence at his bar today, at four o’clock. The word alone was spelled out in capital letters, getting the point across. He wasn’t to show up with any back- up and he knew his guys would give him a ton of shit for even considering Dante’s proposition. How could he not go when it could end the Dragon’s going after his family?

“I’m in,” Savage agreed.

“Doesn’t fucking matter if you’re in or not, man. You aren’t going to that meeting alone,” Ryder shouted.

“Funny,” Savage said, standing from his chair. “Last time I checked, I was acting president of Savage Hell. The club even bears my name,” he added.

Ryder shrugged, “Sure,” he agreed. “But being president of our club doesn’t mean that you get to rule as a monarchy. Last time I checked, we ruled this club as a democracy and I don’t remember us taking a vote for you to be able to go off, half-cocked, and do something stupid.
