“This all sounds like some sort of fairy tale,” the commander of the coast guard said.

“Feels the same for us, too. One minute we were at the gym and the next we were in some strange place. It was by God’s grace and this young woman that we are now safe and sound,” Camille said to him.

“I think that she is just over exaggerating, officer. We were all in panic mode but somehow we managed to get through it and work or way out,” I cut in quickly.

“Well, my men will be back shortly and we will see if they find the kidnappers that you were talking about. The good thing is that everything was caught on CCTV camera at the gym,” the commander said to us. “We have also contacted the owner of the yacht to come and verify if it is the one.”

I couldn’t hide my smile. Everything had turned out better than any of us had anticipated. When we had left the island, we had sailed to a beach house that Pierre and I owned in Miami. We had stashed all of our loot there before heading back to report to the coast guard and the police. We had not mentioned anything about the gold and the money, of course.
