Integration

Significant events require at least ten and sometimes as many as twenty different technologies. While some event tech companies are offering turnkey solutions, sophisticated organizers still want to integrate best in class technologies to facilitate a great user experience.

Integration is desirable but very difficult to execute. Freeman created its own integrations platform (Fuzion), and there are others, including Blendrio and Tray.io, plus more prominent players that are not event focused, such as Zapier or Mulesoft, which Salesforce acquired in 2018 for $6.5 billion. Bob Priest Heck, CEO at Freeman told us,
