"How much will that be, Cindy?"

Sitting in silence, her lips slightly parted as her husband speaks, she crosses and uncross her legs. She loves the commanding tone in his voice, she always has, but this situation is something else entirely. She feels herself freeze as he asks the price, realizing that they hadn't really talked about that part of it recently.

"Ahh... that's one hundred euros?" she says, trying not to end the sentence on the question, almost instantly afterwards realizing she might have undersold herself. After they finish the call, she puts the phone down with shaking hands, going to the shopping bag and grabbing out the little black number, hoping that's what he meant. She grabs the longest coat she owns and wraps it around herself tightly, doing up every button and checking it twice. Slowly, she makes her way out of the house.
