The final step in the risk management process is implementation. Keep in mind that no plan is perfect. For this reason, every risk management plan should include some schedule for evaluation. This allows recreational sport professionals to determine whether the policies and procedures are effective and reasonable for minimizing risk. As the plan is evaluated, it will likely continue to be adapted and hopefully improved. Furthermore, one of the most important aspects of a risk management plan is the implementation itself. Actions to avoid, minimize, or transfer risk should occur in the timeliest manner possible. A delay of any kind can have serious consequences that lead to extensive damages both to participants and the agency.
