Chapter Nine

Stella's alarm didn't go off the next morning, and I assumed that meant she didn't have work. While she slept, I texted Jackson and called out sick, not caring about his response. The morning light flooded her bedroom, and when the sun beat down on the bed through the biggest window, Stella stirred beside me. Before she even opened her eyes, her hand slid across my middle, the way it had the first time I fell asleep naked beside her.

"Hi," she said, before opening her eyes.

"Hi, pretty." I leaned over and kissed her gently. She smiled through it, peeking her eyes open to look at me.

"No work today?" she asked, her voice a little raspy.

"Called out." I stretched a little, turning on my side to face her.

"Good." She wriggled closer to me and hugged me with much less restraint than she had previously. I brushed my lips over her shoulder and she nibbled my neck. "Feel okay?"

"Yeah. Really good, but I think that's your fault." I leaned back to meet her gaze again, tucking her hair behind her ear while I watched her.

"I'm glad it's my fault." She caressed my stomach and a sudden whimsical smile melted over her lips.

I laughed softly. "What?"

"You were so wet." That smile turned into a grin and I nearly cracked up.

"Stella! What'd you expect after making me lay there for twenty minutes, completely naked, while you touched every inch of me? And with your perfectly perky tits in my face, mind you." I swatted her rear a few times over her saggy jeans and she laughed.

"Allie." She laughed so hard that her cheeks turned bright red.

"Not funny." I poked her nose, grinning right through it. "I bet your panties weren't exactly dry either, you evil witch doctor."

"That's my secret," she said, smiling as she traced a single finger over my lips.

I nibbled her finger first then dug my heel into the bed and rolled her onto her back. Her eyes widened with surprise but she continued laughing as I held myself above her. "Oh yeah?"

"Yes." She grinned at me, grabbing my hair and tugging gently.

"Just you wait." I kissed her chin, moving my way down her chest and, at the same time, pushing her pants and panties off her legs. When my lips reached her belly button, her laughter stopped and her fingers tensed in my hair. I looked up at her, my face barely an inch from her bare pussy. "Talk to me, Stell."

"I'm okay…"

"If okay means you look about ready to hurl." I lowered myself to the bed between her legs, and rested my chin on her stomach. I held my hands to her and she laced her fingers with mine.

"I'm afraid," she said, her eyes shimmering with fear.

"I know, Stell. What are you afraid of?"

"I just am." She squeezed my hands gently.

"Want me to stop?" I kissed her belly and she shook her head. "Are you sure?"

"I don't want you to stop," she said then held her breath for a second.
