Performing boolean operations

Start practicing by creating a new project (the resolution you use doesn’t really matter, although in projects with lower resolutions everything will work faster—that includes boolean operations, transformations, effects, etc.)

After you’ve created the project, draw two shapes on the canvas (what kind of shapes you draw is irrelevant, as long as they aren’t lines) and, using the selection tool (the tool that looks like a mouse cursor), place them so that they partially overlap by dragging them in position. You should have something that looks kinda like this
