The next morning, Saint woke up next to Mercedes feeling better than he did when he went to sleep the night before. He watched as she slept so quietly and peacefully in his arms. Saint got out of the bed and wrapped Mercy's naked body up in the thick blanket. He went into his personal washroom and took a shower, then got dressed in a black Polo Ralph Lauren jogging suit, a pair of black Yeezy's and a black MCM backpack. He left out of the house to head to the meeting he had set up with Jahlik, his guy Memphis and a guy Ky. Ky was a new, potential business partner that had been wanting to get put on for a while. He was older but he wasn't as successful as Saint.

Saint hated that he had to leave Mercy but he had to handle his business. He didn't know what Mercy had done to him but she had him considering giving up the business. He was looking to turn the business over to Jahlik soon and simply focus on his legit businesses. At only 21, Saint had touched more money than most niggas his age would touch in their entire lifetime. He was ready to leave everything to Jahlik and focus on something more important to him: a future with Mercedes.

"What's poppin’ bro?" Jahlik dapped Saint up when he made it to the office.

"I can't call it, bro. Just left the crib with my Princess." Saint smiled while sending Mercy a text message.

"Word? Y’all still kicking it, huh?"

"Yeah, most definitely, bro. I got me one. That's a fact."

"Facts, bro. I'm glad to hear that. It's about time niggas move on from the past."

Saint eyed Jahlik who was really his cousin but just as close as a brother. He knew exactly what Jahlik was getting at and he wasn't trying to entertain the conversation.

"Don't start that shit."

"Nigga, I'm just saying. I thought you'd never find yourself a girl after you stopped fucking with China's disloyal ass."

Saint didn't engage in the conversation any longer. His thoughts instantly went to his ex-girlfriend, China. China was his heart. He thought that China was his ride or die until he went to jail for a few months, over a year ago. Saint really loved China until she moved around and began dodging his calls when he got locked up. China had set him up with the FEDS after she'd found out he was messing around on her with a chick that was working for him in one of his stores. Saint didn't know where China's devious ass was but when he found her, he definitely had a bullet with her name on it.
