T-SHIRTS

T-shirts are easily the most popular substrate for screen printing. There are endless events, businesses and friends who want custom-printed T-shirts. It’s also awesome to make shirts for yourself that nobody else has and to create unique shirts by printing on already printed T-shirts. Remember what we taught you in chapter three (see pages 76-78).

OTHER CLOTHES

If you’re printing on a garment that has already been constructed, it’s called spot printing. Printing on other garments is pretty much the same as printing on T-shirts, except you might run into more seams and pleats, which can get messy. If you keep your screen clean and you’re on the ball, you can print on any garment.
