It is interesting to pause here or a second to raise the topic of the Asian ladyboys. A well-known and common form of transgenders, ladyboys can be either transvestites or have some surgery done to have fake boobs. Rarely, if ever, would they have their penis removed. They generally prefer to simply tuck it in to hide it.

Though, many even don’t have fake boobs, they simply wear a padded push-up bra to make it look like they have a small cup size. A not uncommon feat in most of Asia. Now, many of these men are working as prostitutes. Whole streets in big Asian cities are populated by ladyboys walking the streets, harassing tourists and offering their services. The question arises if these men are actually transgenders, or if they have found a niche market to make a living. Or, in some cases perhaps both.

Do they resemble the western transgenders of today, or the western boy-prostitutes of the past? The reality may be a combination of both. The ones that do have silicone implants show a greater commitment to their being transgender, but others may simply be too poor to afford it. We should be able to distinguish these groups between those that dress up as women during the night to attract customers, and those that dress as women any time they go out. The first group, that dresses up solely for customers, holds a resemblance to these old brothels filled with young boys that were forced to dress as women. It is a destitute poverty that brings people to such actions, and not a result of open-minded progressiveness.

The ones with silicone implants obviously fall into the second category. Would we see that even the second group of silicone-implant carrying ladyboys is highly over-represented in prostitution? Why would this be? Is it because they cannot find other jobs? Although some employers may discriminate, ladyboys are so common in this part of the world that it would be doubtful they cannot find a job anywhere. It would be very doubtful to say that all of them are driven to this job out of desperation and the inability to find any other sort of job.

Realistically, most men and women would take literally any job before going into prostitution. Some women that are interested in the easy money are the exception rather than the rule. And the number of women that work as prostitutes that had that job as a childhood dream will be an even tinier percentage. It is after all rather demeaning to be a street walking prostitute that has to offer her services to all that come by. For most women, this is a nightmare scenario, not too far distanced from experiencing continuous rape.

What can we say about these ladyboys then, when we observe that both groups are highly overrepresented in the prostitution sector? We must conclude that as a whole the ladyboys, both silicone-filled and silicone-free, are hypersexual.

Their primary reason to exist appears to be to chase sexual satisfaction. All of them seem to be attracted to men.
