Gold and Silver Confiscation

Since he started his research, Vic became well aware of the craze to acquire gold and silver as an alternative to holding dollars which as a fiat currency was quickly losing its purchasing power. The dollar was taken off the gold standard by Richard Nixon in 1971.

According to Andre Sharon’s article ‘EUREKA! When Gold Struck Me’:

“The US dollar of August, 1971 is as of 2009 worth just over 18 cents, according to the Inflation Calculator. Thus, in purchasing power, the dollar has lost over 80% in the past 39 years.”
