Help Wanted

“That was the last one,” Harley said, bouncing on the newly repaired trampoline. “It works like a charm!”

Poison Ivy had spent all morning helping set up the abandoned trampoline park as Harley’s new hideout. With the help of Ivy’s vines, they had cleaned up the place and repaired all the equipment.

“I’m glad you like it,” Ivy said. “Now, I think we’re finally even for…”

“You know what this place is missing?” Harley interrupted. She leaped off the trampoline and landed next to Ivy. “What kind of big crime boss would I be without any people to, you know, boss around?”

Ivy raised her eyebrow. “You mean thugs and goons?” She glanced around at the empty space and chuckled. “What are you going to do? Hold auditions or something?”

Harley’s eyes lit up. “What a wonderful idea!”

Ivy held both hands out. “Wait a minute, I was just…”

Harley grabbed one of Ivy’s hands and pulled her toward the door. “Come on! Let’s get the word out!”
