A fabulous array of tapas at this popular bar in this up and coming street north of Gran Vía. The aubergines in honey and tuna with caramelised onions and grapes are great options, but all the dishes are excellent. There is a good range of wines and beers on offer, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable too.

Dating back to 1929, this corner bar has hams hanging from the windows and wine bottles lining the walls. Tapas consist largely of jamón and chorizo, and the “Canapé Stop” of ham and tomato doused in olive oil is an excellent option.
