Display

Make a colourful display about drums. Read the African story of The Leopard’s Drum by Jessica Souhami and create collages of the animals to retell the story. Add photographs of all the different drums the children have made. Include instructions written by the children using ICT skills on how to make each of the drums. Build a simple puppet theatre and ask the children to make up plays using their sock puppets. Help them to develop the characters of the puppets and make up new stories.
