Liabilities

A liability is anything that you owe to someone else: money, property, or services. A debt is money that you owe to someone else. Rent is not considered a debt, assuming you paid it on time.

By now, you should have completed the worksheets in Chapter 2, so you can refer back to them for a list of your liabilities. If you haven't yet pulled out your financial records or filled out the worksheets, please stop now and do so. Without the basic facts, you cannot reach your financial goals.
