Tools You Need

nylon comb

water tap (such as the faucet in your kitchen sink)

Instructions

1. Slowly turn on the water tap until you get a small stream of water—the smaller the better, as long as it’s a complete stream and not a trickle of drops.

2. Run the comb through your dry hair at least fifteen times. This will charge the plastic with static electricity.

3. Move the comb toward the stream of water without touching it. Go slowly, and behold the power of static electricity!
