I paused and looked up from the pages, the guys looked pensive. “Should I keep going or stop?” I looked at each one of the guys to see what they wanted.

Zu spoke up, “So if the prophecy is to be believed, Slade is an earth elemental, that would make Ty water, but who are fire and air? There were two others that worked with Slade and Ty, could they be the last two?” His question was generally directed at the room at large.

“I don’t know, I never met the other two and I ran out after Ty. I was just overwhelmed.” I thought about the other two I had seen, and it could be possible, but I wasn’t sure. “I guess the only way to know would be to meet the other two. See if they spark as well.”

Max shifted slightly, “Well all four will be here tomorrow around eight to measure the room and get more details for the new bed. So, we could test it then, if you would like.” He was only making a logical suggestion and I appreciated that. His calm logic was one of the things I loved about him.

Ry sat up more and took the book from my hands. I let him remove it, only to have him close the book softly. “Let’s pause here for a bit. Liam said there were other things you wanted to talk about with us. Take your mind of the prophecy for a bit and then we can finish it tomorrow. Maybe fresh eyes will help.”

I smiled at him, Ry was my sexy incubus, but he had a serious side I rarely saw. It made me realize how much I didn’t know about all of them. “After Dane suggested our date last night,” I tried to keep my voice calm as my thoughts turned to how that one had ended. “I realized that I should spend time with each of you, alone, to get to know each of you better.” I looked at Lucien and Everette, “Even the two of you. I know you want to be together and everything but if any of these relationships are going to work then we need to get to know each other individually.” I hoped they would eventually come around, but baby steps.

River was the first to agree followed by Ry and Liam. Max squeezed me tighter to show me he was game. Zu nodded and smiled. Dane spoke up, “You know I’m willing,” and with that only Lucien and Everette remained.

Everette dropped his feet from the bed and sat up straighter looking at Lucien, “It’s been difficult to reconcile ourselves to having this new spark, but I think that this could be good for both of us. Luna is going to be a part of our lives and we should both be able to have that relationship with her. I won’t push you to do anything you don’t want to, but I think you and I both are secure enough in our relationship that some of our jealousies may be petty at best.
