Conclusion

While the bulk of the chapter has been devoted to invigilating a dispute between Peirce and his co-founders of pragmatism, it is hoped that the reader has gained a decent understanding of pragmatism. According to plan, more is required to ground the agenda in a closer relationship with its methodological complement, phronesis. The principal task here is to identify and elucidate as context allows, how pragmatism is to be operationalized to fulfill its immense task. Together they constitute pragmatism/phronesis dialogic, which displaces the rationalism/modern liberalism combine. The purpose of the upcoming chapter is to complete the plan, to lay the operational lineaments of the dialogic. The chapter will address a central task, with a number of derivatives appended to it. The narrative is now urged in that direction.
