Max woke first and went to the bathroom to urinate still dressed in just his lucky pants. He boiled the kettle first needing a brew, his stomach also growled. Before at the warehouse he had never craved food and lived of protein shakes for over six weeks. But now his body demanded fuel, even though he didn't train as often as he did then because of new responsibilities. Nevertheless, he still thought he was improving, almost without effort.
