Chapter 11
Racism
Defining the Different Types of Racism and Intolerance
Racism is never a simple issue, although many people would like to have a short and sweet answer to it. Like being frightened by one’s golliwog when one was young, or perhaps bad potty training, or some subtle action such as noticing their parents tend not to mix or talk to coloured people etc. I have heard that sexual jealousy is the reason of racism. I have also heard that if there were not any blacks, then someone would have to invent them. Maybe blacks were invented so that white people would have someone to be sexually jealous of? OK I am being sarcastic.
It is generally known that those people who are accused of racism are often denigrated by the media and the establishment, as though this will solve the racist problem. Let’s suppose that one wishes to deter people from having heart attacks. We could say that the cause of heart attacks is being overweight, smoking, eating the wrong foods or too much food, not getting any exercise, having stress (which is caused by fear), etc. Therefore, one could say that people who suffer heart attacks are greedy, lazy, self-indulgent, cowardly pigs who lack moral fibre.
You see how easy it is to denigrate people if it suits one’s political aims. If you wished to denigrate people who expressed racist feelings, it should not be too difficult. The greatest red herring about race is the issue of skin colour. No one, not even the most extreme racist, actually believes that the enzymes produced by the genes that lay down pigment in the skin have any effect on an individual’s intelligence or personality. It is quite obvious that albino South Saharan Africans are hardly more likely to be higher in intelligence or different in personality than those South Saharan Africans who are not albinos.
Anthropologists have used skin colour for labelling purposes, not to classify gene pools from different geographical areas. When I use the term white, I mean European Caucasians; black, South Saharan Africans; yellow, Chinese and Japanese people; and coloured or ethnic, non-European Caucasians. The term mixed Northern European refers to predominately original Neolithic man or Germanic man with a small percentage of Mediterranean man, who, in turn, is a Neolithic man with a small percentage of Middle Eastern Neanderthal genes in his make-up. That’s to put it simply.
I wish to point out that the small percentage of Neanderthal man gives flair, imagination, and wish fulfilment to the human being, as I mentioned earlier. I would point out that there is no such thing as an “English race” since the English are made up of Indo-European Celts; Romans, who were themselves from a mix of Germanic and Middle Eastern man; Angles and Saxons, who were people of Germanic tribes; and Normans, who were a mix of Germanic and Gaelic (Celtic). That is, of course, to put it simply. As far as racial purity is concerned, I only use the term in the relative sense.
