Sometime later, Addy rolled over and snuggled closer to Vic. After recovering enough to move, they collapsed on the bed beneath the covers. She knew he had gone easy on her tonight. Just the little bit he had played with her wasn’t anything for a Dom like him. She’d never seen him in action at his club.

“Why didn’t we go to the club?”

He growled a bit, but she wasn’t sure if that was in sleep or in response to her question.

“Vic.”

“What?”

“I know you heard me.”

One eye opened, and he frowned down at her. Then, he closed his eye and wrapped his arm around her, pulling her up on his chest. She liked that he was a man with some hair on his chest.

“I don’t like sharing experiences.”

She thought that over for a few minutes. “So you’ve never done a public submission?”

“I have, but only a few times. That’s more something Justin would do.”

“Hmm.”

“No.”

“What?”

“No. I am not about to share what we do with other people. I want you to myself.”

She should get pissed and yell at him, but she couldn’t. How he said it made her think it had more to do with affection for her and their relationship.

Relationship. Shit. She was in a relationship with a man who was like her father…and owned a BDSM club. What the hell had she been thinking?

“Damn, your brain makes my head hurt,” he said, amusement threading his voice. He had said that more than once.

“What?”

“Whatever you are thinking, stop. Just let it be, Addison.”

She sighed and started to circle one of his nipples, but he stopped her by grabbing her fingers.

“Come on, let’s get a snack.”

“We just ate an hour ago.”

“It was more like three, and we worked hard,” he said. “I guess I could order you to sit on my lap naked in the kitchen.”

The way his voice threaded with heat when he talked of her being naked.

“But…”

“It’s a little cold, so why don’t you grab one of my shirts and nothing else.”

Addy liked the idea. She scrambled out of his bed and grabbed the shirt he had been wearing at dinner. It smelled of him. From an early age, she was always led around by her nose. Or that’s what her mother had said to her. Whenever she smelled the woodsy cologne Vic wore, she always felt better. A tiny part of her was appalled at that. Most of her loved the idea, mainly her heart and soul.

Vic pulled on a pair of jeans and nothing else. Then, he took her by the hand and led her down to the kitchen. His house fit him. It was large and kind of manly. The colors matched his personality to a point. Dark wood floors were covered by deep blue throw rugs in different patterns. Even the kitchen was streamlined. Addy had a feeling he had it made to his specifications. Maybe she should redo her kitchen.

“And there you go again.”

She blinked and looked at him. “What?”

“I just asked you if fruit and cheese were okay, and you said nothing.
