Jake Curran-Pipe was born in the Canary Islands and raised in Manchester, UK. He currently lives in London and is a theatre producer focusing on developing new writing.

Ever since he was a child, he has written stories as a hobby but only recently realised that he had the skills to turn it into a career. He loves writing in the realms of fantasy and horror but will occasionally dabble with mystery, bildungsroman and romance. He likes to use a Northern voice in his work as well as incorporate elements of his Scottish heritage. The characters he creates always belong to communities rarely represented in mainstream speculative fiction as he wants to see more positive diversity in fantasy and horror.
