Felix hit the beeping alarm clock with a vengeance. He so didn’t want to wake up yet.

Reliving everything they’d done all weekend, mostly in bed but on a select few other surfaces as well, was much more fun than contemplating getting up. And for what? His meeting at the Chamber of Commerce wasn’t until the afternoon.

He pulled the sheets up over his head, willing himself to relax or he’d never get back to sleep. Why did the damned thing keep going anyway? Had Leo forgotten to switch it off like he usually did?

Shit!

Suddenly the veils of unconsciousness lifted from his sleep-addled brain much more quickly than even caffeine could have made them move. Leo needed to get to work on time.

He’d mentioned an important new client meeting this Monday morning.

Felix tore open his eyes to check where his lover was. Not next to him in bed. That was a good sign. He turned his head to check the bathroom at the same time as Leo walked out, dressed in nothing more than a tiny towel wound around his hips. Mmm.

“Morning, baby.” He smiled and walked to Felix’s side of the bed to give him an in-depth good morning kiss.

Felix was about to lie back and enjoy the arousal coursing through his veins more fully when Leo pulled back. Darn.

“I’m glad you’re awake already, that way I don’t have to make you get up.” Leo grinned and stepped back before Felix was able to grab him and pull him down back under the covers.

“Why would I need to get up?” Felix shook his head, trying to chase the last remnants of sleep fog away. “Unless you want me to make you breakfast?”

“Baby, I’d love you to make me breakfast, you know I love your cooking, but I’d never wake you up just for that!” Leo mock-frowned.

“So why?” Felix yawned and stretched, resigned to the fact that he was now far too awake to get back to sleep again.
