Chapter Fifteen

A Pincher

“Thanks for saving Lee yesterday.” Cassie was in her stance and throwing knives at the board with a steady thump, thunking it into the wood. The board was four feet wide and seven feet tall with a human target painted in the middle with small bulls-eyes targets where each major artery in the human body would be. Though, in real life your target is usually moving, it still helped to train for aiming for the arteries to bleed out your enemy faster in a fight.

We had been taking turns for the past hour practicing with knives, Shurikens and Cassie’s favorites, Senbons. Small, two and a half inch long needles with feathers like a dart, to help in accuracy when throwing at an enemy. Hit an artery and they bleed a person out pretty quickly with its tiny barbed hooks. Most didn’t see or know about the hooks and went to pull them out and wind up doing even more damage. Some didn’t have hooks and were made for hitting the pressure points in a human body. If your throw was dead on you could paralyze a person or a body part on them and kill them with ease. I didn’t like them as much as she did, because they could be thrown off the mark because the tips were so fine and wind up just pissing off your target, if they didn’t hit their mark, they didn’t do much harm. With a knife, even on a bad throw you had a better chance of doing some major damage.

“No problemo. That’s what family is for, isn’t it?”

She smiled, “Your mate is all right, now?”

“Which one?”

“Demitri.”

I felt my cheeks turn a little red. “Yeah. He’ll live.”

She started chuckling. “I’ll have to remember that one the next time one of my mates angers me.”

I had gone home and stripped Demitri, handcuffing him to the bed. I used an aphrodisiac cream that tasted like honey and rubbed it all over his body. The cream heated up the skin, making it sensitive and tingling with need. For hours I teased him to a fever pitch then made him watch Ja’ Monel, Ja' Callum and I have sex while I tasted him with my tongue. Never enough to satisfy, but mercilessly kept him hard and aching for me to finish him. He was begging profusely, before I showed any mercy and uncuffed him. After that he was like a hurricane in bed. He was everywhere and everywhere in a hurry. I still had tender spots when I walked too fast. So, I felt like he had gotten his revenge on my body. Though, the revenge he took on me was pretty enjoyable.

“You’re thinking about it again.”

“How the hell do you all know our entire sex life?”

She just shook her head and laughed.

“It’s not fair. I don’t know shit about what goes on with you and yours.”

She said with a touch of rebuke in her tone, “You’ve been too busy to look around.”

“Well gee, sis, let’s see how many things I have to keep track of now.
