Chapter Seventeen

Nora blinked a few times. “I waited for you. I wondered…you’re a very handsome guy, and Tessa…well, she was into you, and I didn’t know…”

“Nora?” I said, unable to stop smiling at how flustered she was. She wanted me. I knew it.

“Yes? Hm?” she said, her chest rising and falling fast, straining against her shirt.

“Shut up so I can kiss you.”

She sucked in a breath as every muscle in her body tensed. It didn’t last long though. She swallowed as I lowered my face and pressed my lips against hers. My hands still rested over hers, and I let go, moving my hand to her lower back and pulling her closer to me. We were chest to chest, our hearts beating against each other, and she gasped when I dug my hands into her lower back.

“More, Nora. I want more,” I said, bending lower to capture her mouth with mine. Her lips were softer than I imagined and were so fucking warm and full. I kissed her once, twice, and then slid my tongue into her mouth, wanting to have every part of her. Her timid kiss wouldn’t cut it. Not with how much I wanted her. I wanted all of her.

She tasted like whiskey. My mouth tingled as she kissed me back, hard. It was messy.
