Run by the same family since 1958, this restaurant is one of the islandâs premier restaurants and a favorite marriage location. Itâs exactly a mile out of town, right on the beach overlooking Nantucket Sound. (Ask anyone. They will point you in the right direction.) One of the more romantic setting on the whole island. In season, they have chairs and table right on the beach. This eatery is elegant yet casual and Chef Neil Ferguson offers a creative seafood menu. Menu favorites include: Lamb Chop with Braised Lamb Neck and Sea Scallops & Lobster; crispy sweetbreads; Atlantic halibut; fluke with braised fennel; roasted guinea fowl. Great sunset views through the wall of windows or at the bar on the beach.
