As mentioned above, under the circumstance of online live-streams, expertise represents viewers’ thoughts on whether streamers are familiar with discussed contents or not; trustworthiness represents viewers’ perceptions of how charming or appreciated streamers’ exteriors are. Therefore, this research considers that when viewers perceive more streamers’ characteristic of credibility, viewers are more likely to immerse into the atmospheres created by streamers. Thus, viewers may see streamers as their companions and view streamers’ behaviors as interactions with themselves. Therefore, here are Hypothesis 4 to 6 of this research’s proposition:H4: Streamers’ expertise perceived by viewers may positively influence viewers’ para-social interactive experiences with streamers.
