If your butler catches a cold and you find yourself fumbling to set the table, follow these instructions. Take care to space utensils, plates, glasses, and other elements evenly from each other. In addition, utensils should be laid one inch from the edge of the table, with the bottom rim of the plate extending slightly closer toward the table’s edge than the utensils.
