On RS rows, slip the sts purlwise with yarn in the back.

Cast on using B, k one row and p one row.

Row 1 (RS): Using A, k1, sl2, k1, * sl1, k1; rep from * to last 3 sts, sl2, k1.

Row 2 and all WS rows: P the knitted sts and sl the slipped sts purlwise with yarn in the front.

Row 3: Using B, k4, * k1, sl1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.

Row 5: Using A, [k1, sl1] twice, * k3, sl1; rep from * to last 3 sts, k1, sl1, k1.

Row 7: Using B, k4, * k1, sl1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.

Row 9: Using A, k1, sl2, k1, * sl1, k1; rep from * to last 3 sts, sl2, k1.

Row 11: Using B, k3, sl1, * k3, sl1; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.

Row 13: Using A, k1, sl1, k2, * k1, sl1, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k1, sl1, k1.

Row 15: Using B, As Row 11.

Rep Rows 1 to 16. To finish, work Rows 17 to 20.

Row 17: As Row 9.

Row 19: Using B, k all sts.
