If you enjoy surfing the internet, this is the gig for you. As a Leapforce independent agent, you will “conduct in depth internet-based research and provide information evaluation for leading companies from around the globe.” In other words, your task will be to do search engine evaluation for Leapforce’s clients. The job consists of checking internet search results to make sure they are relevant to what was typed into the search bar. For example, if I google “Baltimore Ravens,” I would expect to see the official National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens website near the top of the search results. But if instead I see that an obscure blog about Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven,” has come in higher in the search ranking than the Baltimore Raven’s site, I would know that something is amiss. Search engine evaluators are the folks paid to catch these types of anomalies and report them to whichever client has hired them to conduct the check.

In addition to a computer, high speed internet and the latest Google Chrome browser, you’ll also need a strong knowledge of internet research to do this kind of work. You must have sharp analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing. And if you have command of any languages in addition to English, Leapforce is especially eager to partner with you.

Your skills and proficiency in all aspects of the work will be tested before you’re approved. People who have taken the Leapforce exams report that they are fairly difficult. Even though Leapforce provides extensive study materials, not everyone will pass the tests. There is also training involved; training for which you will not be compensated. But if you can get through it and be approved as an agent, you can work from home earning in the neighborhood of $13 per hour.
