And they look to the skies, no longer knowing what they can give.

Poverty and rags,

Children hanging onto an arm and refusing to talk.

Old parents slowing the pace,

Dragging behind themselves the words of a language that they will have to forget.

They move forward. Despite everything.

They persevere

Because they are stubborn?

And then, at last, one day

In a train station,

On a shore,

At the end of one of our roads,

They appear.
