Just in other fortresses, the Shindràm is being defended by about 6 warchiefs from getting attacked. They are orc captains that are very powerful. They are they to have the capture points defended once the fortress gets captured. If you want to take over the fortress, you will need to get every one of them killed. This is when you will then be able to meet with the main boss.
