They floated to a small gap in the rocks. “Are you sure about this?” Lily asked. She peeked into the gap. “It looks really dark in there.”

“Good thing we know what to do about that!” Sirena’s horn began to twinkle, and she said, “Pickle tree, manatee, let there be…light!”

Sirena’s magic lit up most of the dark rocky tunnel. Now Lily could see that it was just big enough for the two of them to swim through. Sirena’s light didn’t quite reach the end of the tunnel. But it was clearly brighter there. “Is that where we’re going?” Lily asked.

Sirena nodded. “Come on!”

Lily knew that Sirena was very excited about the clubhouse. But when they reached the end of the tunnel, Lily’s mouth dropped open. It was more amazing than she had imagined! The under-water cave had a rock floor and rock walls. The floor was smooth and shiny. In the center, there was a table coral with a large flat top. It would be perfect for sharing snacks, doing art projects, or reading books. There was even a family of clown fish who lived under the table coral. They were like a colorful decoration. Red corals grew in branches on the rock walls all the way up to the surface of the water. They gave the cave a warm glow.
