Figure 9.5 shows media reporting on Israel, one of the countries whose political decisions and actions are discussed in terms of controversy throughout the world. Within the framework of the possible attitudes towards Israel’s actions and policies, Germany and the UK are diametrically opposed. While the media in Germany consistently supports Israel, UK media is highly critical of Israel. It is important to be aware that this actually results in news readers in individual countries receiving alternative facts, regardless of who reports effectively and correctly and who does not.
