“Awesome”. As the waiter approaches with the invoice for dinner in a black leather receipt book, Ryan has taken out his wallet and removes his card before I can even reach for my bag. “Just a sec” I say, but Ryan slips his card inside without even looking at the receipt and hands it straight back to the waiter.

“Hey, I was willing to go halves on dinner” I say a little confused and maybe a touch annoyed because he did this the other day too.

“No, ‘hey’ about it, I asked you out, I pay”. I cross my arms and rest them on the table, and I’m not sure if that was the smartest move to do with my argument but I’m going to use it. Ryan’s eyes have automatically dropped down to the additional cleavage that has been displayed through the V-neck cut of my dress with my positioning, as if I gave them an additional push upwards.

I lower my voice and stay in position, using the girls for all I can, “If we are doing dessert, then I need you to agree to let me pay for it, or we just might have to give it a miss”.

Ryan stills, and I tilt my head to the side and say “Ryan, did you hear what I said”.

Ryan shakes he head and then looks straight up into my brown eyes. “Ahhh yeah, okay sounds good” and I smile because I’m not sure he really heard what I said, but I guess we will find out shortly.

The waiter brings back the black receipt book and Ryan grabs the card and receipt and places both into his wallet without looking at it, and asks, “are you ready?”

At my nod, we both get up from the table and as we head to the door Ryan’s hand returns to my lower back, and he then whispers in my ear “I did hear what you said, I will say that wasn’t exactly fair to do it that way, but I guess I can let you cover dessert”.

“Do what exactly” and I look up at him with the most innocent look that I possibly can, and he just cocks and eyebrow up at me in question as if to ask, ‘am I’m being serious’, and I start laughing again.

“You’re a minx, you know exactly what you’re doing and you freakin’ love teasing me don’t you?” circling my waist with his arms.

“Yeah, I kinda do actually, and you make it so much fun too” I put one of my hands on his shoulder and look directly up at him and I don’t think I can wait any longer for a kiss, feeling him this close, his firm hard body against mine, and I decide I definitely can’t wait anymore. I move my other hand up to the side of his face and gently move my thumb back and forth against his stubbly jaw and raise onto my tippy toes.
