PEANUT BUTTER SIZZLE

Okay, so a peanut butter truffle may not seem like a daring flavor. But have you ever tried peanut butter with cayenne pepper? The pepper brings the peanut butter to a whole other dimension!

It’s actually quite interesting how well these two flavors work together. The cayenne seems to bring out the nuttiness of the peanuts, and the creaminess of the peanut butter cuts the bite of the cayenne.

When you eat these truffles, you may not notice the heat at first. You will probably just taste the peanut butter flavor. And then, suddenly, the cayenne will creep up and there will be a slight heat at the back of your throat.

If making the caramel crunch presents too much of a challenge, don’t worry. The truffles will still taste good without it.
