PRACTICE TIME

STEP 1

Let’s practice this first so we can perform it with confidence. Put the crayons you’ve selected into a box and set the box down on a table. Turn around and with both hands behind your back, pick up one crayon out of the box. You don’t know what color it is, so no peeking!

STEP 2

With your hands still behind your back, draw (or scratch) some of the crayon on your thumbnail. You have to press hard enough to get the waxy crayon to come off. When you’re done, put the crayon back into the box. You have no idea what color the crayon is, now do you? Here’s the secret method.
